Ruthhrieston Community Centre Association

The Centre is run by Ruthrieston Community Centre Association a Scottish Charitable Interest Organisation (SCIO).

Our organisation structure is as follows:-

Trustees – we currently have 13 Trustees who meet monthly except for July and January.   The Trustees elect office bearers – a Chair person, a Secretary and a Treasurer.  The trustees make decisions on how the centre should be run,  authorise repairs, mainenance and improvements and ensure that the centre, voluteers and users comply with all current legislation, the terms of the lease and management agreement with Aberdeen City Coucil and their own policies.  The centre is run entirely by volunteers thus all income raised from the let of the centre facilities is spent on maintaining and improving the centre.  Meetings are open to the public unless dealing with personnel or the confidential business of centre users.  Agendas and Minutes of meetings of the Trustees can be found on notice boards and here – Agendas & Minutes
